It is imperative to minimize and prevent further damage to your property.

Any temporary repairs that need to be made, such as covering your roof with a tarp or calling a glass repair company, need to be done immediately.

Criminal activity (theft, burglary, or robbery): Notify the police immediately and request a copy of the police report.

Make a list of all items stolen or damaged, detailing the values of each.

Keep detailed records of all receipts associated with the loss/damage.
